All Things New

​









​​Embarking- to make a start. On a brand new year there is great excitement and the anticipation is high. We are leaving the old year behind and now we are headed into a new place, a new chance and a fresh start which is represented by change of the year.


It is great to keep this excitement and positive attitude, But to upkeep this positive attitude there must a change in our mindset if our mind has not been renewed then we will revert back to the old habits of the past that will not produce any results such as in earlier years leaving us in a place of unhealthy circles causes us to remain stagnant, unproductive and, ultimately  leave us not being able to see the things we hoped for.

Ephesians 4:3 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. 

For many years I would get excited about the new year making big plans all to end up losing the momentum to continue on with what I had started.  I then realized that we can write and or have a strong vision plan  But without out action and consistency there will be no results.

 I suddenly had an epiphany that I do not need a new year for things to be new.  I had to allow my mind to be renewed. By making the necessary changes and facing the things that challenged and prevented me from moving forward.

​It okay to seek council or a life coach in your process
Give yourself time for improvement
Don't compare your improvements by other people's standards
Correct focus be willing to disconnect from anyone or thing that would hold you back
Making sure that I am aware of the things that did not work in the past
Making a plan to execute and move forward in the new place meaning not limited
to a geographical place but in all areas in life
In a new place I must be willing to be challenged and uncomfortable 
Celebrate even the small successes and improvements that have been made

From this point I have been able to see the new began to invade my life. My  mindset is refreshed and my heart has been renewed.  This is a daily process not just because it is a new year but because all things have been made new.

My question to you are you ready for the new that God has in store for you?
Are you ready to be challenged and ready to move out from your comfort zone and make the necessary improvements?

I encourage you to stay the course of what you have been called to do. Even when you miss the mark continue to move forward.

Prayer: God your mercy and grace is beyond the natural comprehension of man. Today we accept all things new and all that you have set in place for us. Renew my mind that I maybe able to receive and walk into my new place. I am willing to take the necessary steps so that I maybe able to partake in all that you have in store for me. In Jesus name amen.
